September 23-December 2, 2010
The Leadership Development Class helps participants develop individual leadership skills by matching them with nationally recognized leadership coaches and introducing them to top Triangle leaders. Unlike most leadership programs, each participant has a highly customized experience working with a leadership coach in a small group setting in each class. An individual will focus on a personal project, or role in an organization, or a situation that requires "gaining willing followers," which will be the basis of their work at each session. This series meets in one location, the RBC Center, Raleigh, with the last class and graduation at Bay 7 at American Tobacco in Durham. This is not the regional class that moves around the Triangle for each meeting. Graduates will join the 500 plus alumni family of "Goodmon Fellows."
