2011 Leadership Triangle College Edition presented by AT&T PDF Print E-mail

Leadership Triangle College Edition presented by AT&T, is an experiential learning opportunity for students selected to participate from the ten universities, colleges, and community colleges based in the Triangle area. The interactive curriculum will focus on developing students' leadership skills and providing regional exposure.

Sessions meet at sites related to the topics, and include opportunities for students to engage in discussions with key leaders. Sessions are structured to assist participating students in deepening their knowledge and understanding of community-based problem-solving and to better inform and prepare them to become future leaders of the Triangle area.

Quotes from some 2009 Leadership Triangle College Edition inaugural class graduates:

“Because of LTCD, I am now excited to become a pioneer in Durham, rather than one of the crowd in New York.”
Jabari Blackmon, North Carolina Central University

"I was able to strengthen my leadership skills in part because of the variety of programming, and in part because of the friendships I forged with other participants.   What a fun class-it was my favorite one of the semester!"
Alex, Klein, Duke University

“To be honest I was not quite sure what to expect when I attended my first LTCE meeting.  However what surprised me even more was the eagerness for the following meeting and the ones after that!”
Vanessa Fixmer-Oraiz, Durham Tech Community College & UNC-CH

“Coming out of this program, I am much more prepared to meet the demands of the current job market, and I now know how to better network myself with local businesses”
Brady McReynolds, University of North Carolina-CH

"This program is a great way to become connected to Triangle leaders, as well as make friends with other college students.  The skills you learn will follow you through life."
Laura Beth Price, Peace College
