James Amato (’15)
James Amato is a strategist and business developer at Capitol Broadcasting Company where he leverages design thinking, marketing strategy, and passion for community as forces for economic growth and social change.
Prior to joining the staff at CBC James spent 12 years in higher education as an aspiring college president. During this time he facilitated and supported student leadership programs, championed diversity and inclusion, and fostered collaboration – skills he continues to employee in his work throughout the Triangle.
A 2015 graduate of Leadership Triangle’s Regional Class, James has co-facilitated the Emerging Leaders Class and twice served as a coach in the Transforming Leaders Class. James served as Co-Chair of the Leadership Triangle Alumni Network Committee from 2015 through 2016 and now serves as Alumni Board Chair and a Leadership Triangle Board Member.
James, his wife Jessica, and their daughter Caroline reside in Holly Springs.
